London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1901. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Hugh Thomson. Undated, but copyright dated 1901. Book bound in blue cloth with gilt and green decorations on the front and gilt title on the spine. Some light discoloration and fading, but remaining attractive, robust and square. Rough cut page edges are browned and spotted as are the end papers. Internally the pages are predominantly clean and clear of spots. Beautiful colour tipped in illustrations throughout by Hugh Thomspon with illustrated captioned tissue-guards, one of these tissue-guards is detached but present. May incur additional postage charges overseas.
