Collated, complete. JM Barrie's work written before the publication of 'Peter Pan,' following the tale of two sisters who start a school for genteel children during Napoleonic times. The play opened in New York in 1901, running for only a modestly successful 64 performances. It then opened in London the year after, and ran for a very successful 459 performances. The play was then revived numerous times until World War II. In the original publisher's full decorative cloth binding, gilt to boards. Externally with wear to extremities, lightly chipped with minor loss to head and tail of spine. Minor puncture marks to joints. Internally, firmly bound.
