Book Condition: Near Fine; light rubbing scratches to wraps. No DJ. Pictorial color card stock wraps. Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is not creased; text is secure in binding. 128 pp 4to. The Terra Cotta Museum is located on the east side of the Mausoleum of Emperor QinShihuang (221 BC), the first emperor in Chinese history. Fragments of the army were discovered in 1974 and have been undergoing excavation from several sites ever since. The Army is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor with the purpose of protecting him in his afterlife. Now a UNESCO cultural heritage site. A clean very presentable copy.
