Dark purple cloth boards with full color pastedown illustration of The Purple Prince riding a bespectacled elephant. Black title and prince's face to spine. Publisher's yellow to edges. Rubbing to extremities; light sunning to spine and scuffing along joints. Previous owner's inscription, dated 1932, in pencil on ownership page. Hinges showing front and rear. One inch closed tear to bottom of title page.
