The Office, Fleet Street, London, 1858. Hardcover. Acceptable. Red half leather, red boards, gilt titles and decoration. Leather worn, a bit grubby. Gilt bright. Binding sound. Marbled paper endsheets. 1-in closed tear to top margin of FFEP. Large dampstain to top of gutter at first and last few pages, with moderate foxing to those pages. Bookplate at front paste down. Pages toned, with sparse marginal writing in pencil mostly near the end, text otherwise unmarked.
