COMMENTS: A 16 page booklet concerning the building of a new State House on Smith's Hill. The reason for the proposed site, how much it would cost, etc. The booklet also asks for money for a memorial observatory on Neutakonkanut Hill, Blackstone Park, Admiral Hopkin's Park and a Monument to Admiral Hopkins. The frontis illustration is beautiful. Today the only thing you would recognize is the Capitol as the rest of it has, as does everything with time, change. SEE PHOTOS CONDITON: The front cover has been reattached with archival document tape. The front cover as can be seen in the photo is heavily chipped. The illustration is in fine condition as are the contents of the booklet, except for the last page which is lightly soiled..
