Minor rubbing to the spine tips and corners. Just about Fine. Quarto (8" x 11") bound in the original brown cloth. This copy is SIGNED by the President on the first blank months before his election to his historic nonconsecutive second term to "John P. Irish/from/Grover Cleveland/May 1, 1892."

John Powell Irish (1843-1923) was a leader of the Democratic Party in Iowa and an opponent of prejudice against Japanese, the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882, women's suffrage, and labor unions.
