Illustrated with several black and white photographs. Foreword by William J. Kennedy, edited by Douglas Brinkley. The Fear and Loathing Letters, Volume 1. A beautiful example of this collection of Thompson's early letters.

The Proud Highway: Saga of a Desperate Southern Gentleman 1955-1967 This is an expansive collection of some of the intimate and private correspondence of the mad Gonzo himself, Hunter S. Thompson. There are letters to his mother, the NRA, Joan Baez, and a chain of poor newspaper editors.
