Boston, MA: Dana Estes & Company (1884) Original green cloth covers w/ gilt titles on spines. Bindings a bit rubbed at extremities but quite nice with the spine of volume 1 being more worn and soiled than the rest. Top edges gilt. Light scattered foxing. Several leaves in each volume dog-eared. Each volume illustrated w/ b/w plates, one volume also illustrated w/ fold-outs. Overall, a nice set for the collector.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
