About This Item
Vienna: Alfred Holder, 1900. Hardcover. VERY GOOD. Single volume, two books, both German-language. 714 pp. Krafft-Ebing was instrumental in solving the problem of the general paralysis of the insane, inoculating paralytics with syphilis. Second book by Remak is another landmark work in early neropathology. Light sunning to spine. Light rubbing to extremities and to spine. 3 scratches 1 inch or smaller to rear board with one three inch scratch. 5 scratches 1 inch or smaller to front board with one 2 inch scratch. Light soiling to front and rear boards. Moderate age-tanning to edges of text block, head foot and fore edge of text block. Last 8 pages of text block have 0.5 inch or smaller chips to edge of page. 5 inch crease to the last two pages of the text block with light soiling to the last three pages. Text block beginning to come loose from binding along spine. Slight rippling to several pages of text block with one inch crease and half inch crease to bottom corner of first 100 pages of text block. Very, very small chips to bottom corner of another 100 pages of text block. All in all, a remarkably clean and tight volume.
