About This Item

A sequel to Holmes' The Autorcrat of the Breakfast-Table. A collection of essays that had originally appear in The Atlantic. This example is in Good condition. There is some wear to the edges of the spine and some staining on the covers. A small dent in the top of the back cover. The ribbon bookmark is present, but has been detached, and it has stained the pages between which it is. There is some light staining to the bottom corners of the first three pages, and some of the early pages have separated slightly at the bottom or top, but are otherwise secure. The gilt top edges of the pages are in excellent condition. There is gold lettering and designs on the spine and the front cover. Binding is tight, with no loose pages. 331 pages, with index.
