Washington: Government Printing Office, 1917. Hardcover. Very Good. Volume one only. 451pp. Burgundy buckram with gilt-stamped spine. Illustrated with black and white plates, drawings, and maps, and two fold-out diagrams. Articles are in a mix of English and Spanish. Spine faded, a very good copy with Dr. J. Bronfenbrenner's stamp on title page. In 1917 Bronfenbrenner became an assistant professor of preventive medicine and hygiene at Harvard University Medical School.
