Quarto, navy blue pebble cloth boards with gilt spine and cover imprinting, 776 pp. Near Fine; bookplate of ffep states "Gift to the Department of Geography from the Library of John(H.)Thompson"; John Thompson's penciled initials JHT above that; stamp of the Department of Geography / Syracuse University next to that. John H. Thompson was a professor of geography at Syracuse, and the author of "The Geography of New York State" and several student-aimed geography titles, as well. Otherwise, very minute wear; solid, handsome near fine. A wealth of scholarly geography and graphics. See scan. Box 28N
