About This Item

1810 SURGERY John Bell 1ed Principles Pathology Anatomy MEDICINE Bandages Tumors

John Bell was an 18th-century Scottish surgeon who, like many physicians, published an important book on human anatomy. "Anatomy of the Human Body" was highly desired throughout the turn of the 18th-century much in part to the exquisite full-page engravings included. His anatomy studies proved popular throughout the 19th-century, almost as popular as his "Principles of Surgery". This treatise proved to be highly influential amongst surgeons and anatomists offer instruction on different types of surgical procedures.

This 1810 rare American edition of Bell's 'Surgery' was published in New York and includes numerous in-text illustrations throughout.
