First edition of a scarce Gibbs title, following Prince Dande Lion as he sets off to see the world, full of beautiful humanized flowers and anthropomorphic animals. 9.75'' x 7.25''. Original tan cloth backed green pictorial boards. Original unclipped (14/9d.) color pictorial dust jacket. Four full-page color plates with twelve full-page black and white illustrations and numerous in-text illustrations throughout. [4], 117, [3] pages. Dampstaining to rear panel of dust jacket with smaller lines of dampstain to top edge of front panel and textblock, and light chipping to spine ends of jacket. Very scarce in dust jacket.
