1944. SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF WORLD WAR III. PREVENT WORLD WAR III (19 ISSUES). New York: The Society for the Prevention of World War III, a non-profit educational organization, 1944-1971. Originally issued monthly, but later only twice a year, we offer an interrupted run of 19 issues from 1944-1971: nos. 4,8, 24,29, 33, 35, 36, 38, 49, 40, 45, 46, 47, 48, 72, 73,74, 75, 77. Some interesting contributors, for example, in issue numbers. 4 and 8, among others are Rex Stout, who served as president of the society, Sigrid Undset, Stefan Heyn, Sumner Welles, Booth Tarkington, Erika Mann, Eugene Tillinger, and Darryl Zanuck. A few issues are faded at the top right corner, one issue is dampstained and the spine is split otherwise they are all in very good condition. Quite scarce.
