With Marshall's lovely bookplate front paste down. George Gehring Marshall was the President of Marshall Drug Company of Cleveland and a noted botanical literature collector. In binding signed "bound by the Booklovers Shop Cleveland" of half calf over marbled boards, five raised bands with gilt lettering back, marbled end papers, top edge gilt. Very Good Plus, rubs at raised bands and corners, text uniformly browning. SIGNED copies of Brieux's works are uncommon. . SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY AUTHOR. First Edition. Half Calf. Very Good Plus. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Presentation Copy.
