Previous owner's name in ink to half-title and again in pencil to verso of ffep. Quite a bit of spotting throughout but still very serviceable. Dust jacket: fair. Unclipped. Some edge wear and chipping to corners. Head & tail of spine also chipped. Closed tear to rear reinforced with tape from behind. Also tape reinforcement to closed tear at top of front fold. Generally a little spotted and lightly soiled. Classic Batsford book offering an excellent and detailed introduction to the subject of Prehistoric England. Illustrated by drawings, diagrams and photographs.
