Smith, Elder & Co, 1909. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1909. No Edition Remarks. 264 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Rough-cut pages. Moderate foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters and front hinge causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with noticeable staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with prominent splitting and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Lettering is slightly faded.
