Montreal: Tundra. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1973. Second Printing. Hardcover. 0887760228 . [48] p. 23 x 23 cm. Two bottom fore-corners lightly bumped. A bit of darkening to the edges. Small label in Ukrainian on front free endpaper - something about the book being a club selection. Inside pages clean, bright, and unmarked. Dustjacket has light edge, fold and spine ends wear, with one tiny closed tear. The spine is darkened, lesser so areas on both panels. Many iconic images of Canadian winter by noted artist William Kurelek. A look at the life of a boy named William as he works and plays on the Canadian prairies during a winter season. .

Synopsis

Text and twenty color paintings depict the rigors and simple pleasures during the stark 1930s.
