FIRST EDITIONS 1898, Volumes 2 and 3 only of 4. 8vo approximately 190 x 130 mm, 7½ x 5 inches, text illustrations throughout both volumes, pages: Volume 2, [4], 1-259, plus 8 pages of adverts; Volume 3, [6], 1-307 plus 3 pages of adverts, original publisher's decorated cloth, gilt lettering to spines, floral endpapers. Slightest rubbing and wear to head and tail of spines, tiny ink name to first pastedowns and title page and following page of both volumes (see attached image), pale age-browning to title pages, otherwise very good clean bright copies.
