In pictorial dust jacket. 8vo. 5-3/4 x 8-1/4 inches. 436 pp. Black and white illustrations. Illustrated by Mitchell Jamieson. First edition. Inscribed by artist on second free endpaper. Series edited by Hervey Allen and Carl Carmer. Binding sound, pages very slightly age-toned. Small inkstain on bottom edges does not affect inner pages. Dust jacket is not price-clipped; shows some edgewear and chipping at top and bottom of spine, but is unusually bright and clean. Very Good plus in Very Good plus dj. Protected by mylar sleeve. Scarce signed.
