Nagoya, Japan: The Bank of Nagoya, Ltd, 1989. 1st. Cloth. Collectible; Fine. The 1989 stated 1st edition of this lavish and uncommon exhibition catalogue of Japanese posters, spanning the 1800s up thru the 1980s. A very sharp copy. Crisp and Near Fine in its green cloth, with bright silver-lettering to the front panel and spine. Slight fading along the spine, otherwise clean as could be. Tall quarto, 317 pgs., wonderful color reproductions featuring literally thousands of posters. Also includes a mint copy of the publisher's decorative silver/pearl slipcase. Text and captions in both Japanese and English.
