Cambridge: Houghton Mifflin, 1937. First edition. . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Inscribed by author on half-title: "For Mrs. Jessica Calhoun Swartz in memory of that writer's (?) conference Ford Madox Ford, (illegible) July '38" Also, probably in author's hand "The Majestic!" written next to his name on title page. A few pencil underlinings, and one page with a few words underlined in ink, by unknown hand, book otherwise fine. dust jacket good only with Japanese paper repair to tears, and pencil notes of Ford's other books on flap, presumed not in author's hand.
