London: George Allen & Unwin Ltd., 1935. Book. Good. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. First UK edition (first published in the UK by Covici, 1934). Oatmeal colour cloth with title in red on front cover and spine. Condition: Good, with general light shelfwear and light browning to cover edges. Light foxing to endpapers and title page. Binding sound, no inscriptions. Dustjacket condition: Fair, generally shelfworn with browning and foxing and a small chunking missing to top of front of jacket. Quite heavy foxing to inner flaps of dustjacket. Not price-clipped. 232pp. Sixty b/w illustrations. Prior to the publication of this book, Diego Rivera (1886-1957) spent three years in America, and during that time painted approximately 70 fresco panels there. These murals represented his vision of the past, present and future of America, expressing his clear vision of a new world and a new society..
