These old (74 years) magazines are so full of nifty stuff, that a proper description would take several pages. The cover story - giving rise to the colorful balloon on the front cover is about experimental use of photography from a tethered balloon to discover the cause of traffic jams. There is a nice article about the San Francisco international exposition which was to open in 1939. Also: "How Flying Clippers Dodge Storms;" "Tornadoes Are His Hobby;" "Putting the Atom to Work;" "Life Saving Inventions;" Part III of "Across Africa on One Lung [riding a motorcycle across Africa];" "Tricks of the Animated Film Makers."
