Collation, xvi, 536pp; viii, 576pp, with 8 engraved plates, 1 wood-engraved plate, 2 engraved maps (1 folding) & 15 wood-engraved text illustrations. Bound in cloth backed boards, with paper title labels. Both volumes have been repaired, retaining the original boards and paper title labels. Both binding in very good clean firm condition. Internally, plates other than frontispieces bound at the end of volume 2, some browing or spotting to plates, heavy to a couple. Pages and plates in good condition. A nice set, in very attractive bindings. . First Edition. Very Good. 8vo.
