Detailed account of Operation Frantic Joe, a cooperative mission between the US and Soviet Russia during World War II, which foreshadowed the icy relations between the two nations during the Cold War. Light brown cloth, color illustrated dustjacket. The book is in near fine condition with a firm binding, personal library embossed stamp at the bottom corner of the title page, no other names or markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has some edgewear, mainly at the corners and spine ends, very little paper loss.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
