Pages bright and clean and free from marking, soiling and staining. Bound in original cream wraps. Wraps lightly soiled. Inscribed on front cover "Rev. Dr. Beardsley Compliments of C.C. Trowbridge. Charles Christopher Trowbridge was a mayor of Detroit and a notable ethnographer of American Indians in the Michigan Territory. The Rev. Dr. Beardsley appears to be Eben Edwards Beardsley, the rector of St. Thomas' Church, New Haven, CT, and the President of the House of Deputies at the 33rd Episcopal General Convention. A nice copy of this scarce pamphlet with a notable association.
