About This Item

Kuala Lumpur: Oxford University Press, 1971. First edition. Paperback. Very Good. In a society race is ever very far from the political discourse, the author unearths political parties that are avowedly non-communal and explains how they survive and function. The research for the book was carried out in the two years to May 1965, but does include a postscript on how the momentous events of 1969 further marginalised non-communal parties. Very Good Paperback. First Edition. 338 pages with a bibliography and index. Weight: 0.7 kg Post free within Malaysia There is minimal rubbing along parts of the cover edges. A previous owner's name is written on a front end paper. The binding is tight, the text clear and there is no tanning of the pages, but they have lost their original freshness.
