This book when originally printed in 1824 only had a limited circulation of 100 copies, most of which quickly disappeared. Anderson, a proficient linguist, wrote this as a strategy document for the East India Company to advise the Company on its future relations with the Siam, distrusted by Anderson, and on how the Company should act vis a vis the sultans on the peninsula generally. The book is divided into Two Parts - I - Considerations on the Conquest of Quedah and Perak by the Siamese and II - Descriptive Sketch of the Tin Countries on the Western Coast of the Peninsula of Malacca, as the peninsula was then called.. 204 pages and appendices Weight: 0.8.kg.
