About This Item
London: Heinemann, 1958. First edition, first printing. Published by Heinemann in London, 1958. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper, designed by Michael Harvey, has very slight wear at the spine tips and corners. It has not been price clipped, showing the original 21s net price. The boards are tight and intact at the hinges and otherwise are free from notable chips and marks. The text blocks free from foxing. This copy is free from inscriptions and the internals clean. Overall, this is a near fine copy. The penultimate work in book form that the author published. It consists of five essays.
