About This Item

Stephen Daye Press, Brattleboro, VT, 1934. 7.5" X 5.5" in spiffy red cloth with an elf reading a book on the front cover. Charmingly illustrated by Enola Stanton. Lightly soiled covers: About VERY GOOD MINUS condition, or perhaps a bit better. This appears to have been a salesman's sample. Pasted inside the front cover is part of a price list - the right hand part of which has been torn off. This is part of THE POETRY READERS SERIES by this publisher, which in turn was part of a larger reading program. Cute stories and poems. 174pp. [Scarce]. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
