Slight rubbing and fraying to spine (chiefly at foot); slight stains and rubbing to covers; slight rubbing and bumping to corners; previous owner's pencil signature and inscription on first preliminary leaf; previous owner's rubberstamp on title page; slight internal browning and/or foxing (chiefly to preliminaries and edges). 415 pages. Dated 1866 on title page verso. Contains selected verses by Ina Coolbrith, Lyman Goodman, Ralph Keeler, Edward Pollock, John R. Ridge, and others; plus 3 poems by editor Wentworth (and her preface). Provenance: 1) From the library of one Mrs E.B. Van Auken, Rome, Michigan; 2) From the Wilson Collection (with rubberstamp present).
