This volume of Hood's poetry and sonnets comes in brown boards with gold lettering on the spine and what looks like what used to be a guilt top page edge of the closed book. The book's exterior has four lightly to moderately worn corners, worn areas at the top and bottom of the spine, and four white spots on the rear cover. The interior book has a former owner's small label on the inside front cover's top left corner and then other than some browning and foxing on some pages and, in the beginning pages, some ink bleed through, no further visible extraneous markings, detriments or distractions throughout the book and thus all of its printing is in a very well-preserved and enjoyable condition and the book's bindings remain tight and therefore sound.
