Philadelphia: E.H. Butler, 1858 Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Full tooled leather; 604pp. Gift inscription dated Christmas 1857 (publishing date shows 1858) on ffep, else free of writing. Occasional foxing throughout, mostly limited to illustrations and a few pages around them. Binding is tight, pages are supple, epps whole. Spine has 5 raised bands which are rubbed, along with other extremities. No splitting or cracking of the leather.
