A collection of poetry including: Pauline, Strafford, Sordello, Pippa Passes, King Victor and King Charles, and much more. Written by Robert Browning, an English poet and playwright noted among the Victorian writers. With an introduction by Rev. Edward Frederick Hoernle. Bound in quarter vellum with green cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Small marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light spotting to the endpapers. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
