Copyright unclear. Hardbound. No DJ as published. Name of previous owner is on first end page with date December 1882. Then after title page is another signature, same last name, with date of June 1890. Boards are gold cloth covered in numerous gilt designs, including the name "Byron" raised and written in gilt. Byron's last name is also raised on the spine in gilt. Tips of pages all around are gilt. The book is in beautiful condition. The bottom spine is bumped. The first end page, following page with picture of Byron and second end page are loose. The rest of the pages are securely within the book binding. The top and bottom of the spine and the tips of the book ends show mild wear. Some rubbing on the back cover. Nonsmoking. This book was carefully passed down from Grandfather to Grandson who has donated it to our local library where the proceeds of the sale will go.
