Contains Samson Agonistes, Lycidas, L'allegro, Arcades, Comus, Sonnets etc. An odd volume - we don't have the first 2 volumes from this 3 volume set .

Philadelphia, PA: B., J. & R. Johnson, 1804 Fair. No Jacket 16mo-over 5¾"-6¾" tall. Gilding on cover edges is mostly worn off. Spine inlay design and gilding is evident but title is not readable. Chipping noted on bottom spine edge. Boards are intact but show pronounced edge wear. Volume is tightly bound with marbling design on inside covers, flyhseets and all page ends. This is Volume III containing Books I-IV of Paradise Regained, Samson Agonsties and Comus. Owner's named penned on title page.
