New York: D. Appleton, 1869 524pp. Hinges are open. Front endpaper is loose. Edges of most pages have a damp stains. Tips are heavily rubbed. Spine paste down is faded to the point of being unreadable, is chipped and heavily soiled. Boards are heavily scuffed and scratched. Spine cloth has heavy water damage and is heavily faded in some areas. Boards have a small bend. Edges of text block are heavily dust stained. Old bookstore stamp inside rear board. Top tip of front endpaper is detached. Poor book. May have other flaws.. Later Printing. Hardcover. Poor/No Dust Jacket.
