John W. Lovell Co, 0000. Leather Binding. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Date of issue is ca. 1880. A good+ copy in leather binding with slight rubbing to extremities; spine sunned. Small 8vo 520+[1] Fine-bound edition of the London woman poet (1820-97), also famous for her children's stories. Bound in half dark green morocco over dark blue marbled boards, gilt-stamped spine, tan floral patterned endpapers, top edge gilt. Exterior as noted (spine faded to brown); slight browning to few leaves; previous owner's inscriptions present (one dated 1880); else a very good reading copy.
