With a Memoir which ends with a reference to his funeral. Six Engravings on Steel. First edition. Undated but published posthumously (c.1860). Black full leather, ornately blind stamped with gilt title block and design to front board. Raised bands to spine with ornate gilt design and title block. Full gilt-edged. Frontispiece and title page illustrations. Text block pages edged with red line design. 456pp. CONDITION: spine leather faded to brown but gilt bright. Corners and edges rubbed. Paper tape repair to front gutter. Foxing and some oily discolouration marks to prelims. Foxing to memoire pages and light foxing to the rest of the text block. Good, solid, handsome book.
