Houghton Mifflin, 1882. Cloth. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. (Household Edition) Slightly smaller book, darker blue cloth with beveled edges, ornate gilt background for design and title at top front as well as gilt circle with dark blue illustration of butterfly and leaves at center front and spine, ornate flowers and dark red background to all of front and spine, tissue-covered frontispiece of older Longfellow, dark brown color inside covers and adjacent end papers, 417 lightly browned pages including index. Very slight surface wear to top tips, slight wear to bottom tips, very slightly rubbed along long spine edges, micronicks with slight wear at spine top and bottom edge, dark ink stain very small at bottom back, double-column format on many pages. Near Good.
