This is a two volume collection of Gay's works, including poetry, a play (Dione), letters and other works It is full leather bound, 260 pp and260 pp in overall good condition, except for the boards of vol 1 coming loose and the front board of vol 2 being detached Text blocks are sound, with only modest age toning
An early owner's armorial bookplates are affixed on the inside of the front covers, Squier Calthrop, Boston (Apparently Squier Calthrop, Gentleman of Boston , Lincolnshire, d 1827)
