London: Humphrey Milford, 1935. Limited Edition of 500 copies. Herrick's only published collection of poetry, Hesperides and Noble Numbers, includes one of Herrick's earliest datable poems, A Country Life: To his Brother M. Tho: Herrick, written in 1610 as a farewell to his brother. Also present in these volumes are To the Virgins, To Make Much of Time, one of the most popular songs of the 17th century, and Herrick's many love verses to his imaginary mistresses. Fine copy.
