A Good, original full leather binding with red leather label on spine, gilt lettering and gilt ornate design on spine, binding fragile, moderate handling/rub marks to leather binding, rubbing and small dents to board edges, upward lifting front board, text block edges pulpy, cracked hinges, front joint partially split, abrasions to board corners, previous owner name in ink top title page else unmarked, age toning to pages, some age spotting throughout, some loss to spine top, top part of second front free endpaper neatly cut off, spine leather is a bit dry and brittle, endpapers and pastedowns are dusty and a bit warped (possible moisture damage), small bookworm holes to front/back joints, frontis-piece appears to be missing. Overall in a good antiquarian condition. 8vo[octavo or approx. 6 x 9 inches]. 502pp. We pack securely and ship daily with delivery confirmation on every book.
