Original white boards backed in pale blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt, white dustjacket printed in blue. Wartime economy paper a touch toned. Dustjacket slightly chipped and a little soiled. Inscribed to flyleaf ‘to Helen with love from Hugh MacDiarmid, June 1945.’ The sixth book in the publisher’s Poetry Scotland Series.
