Notable foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Previous owner's name to front endpaper. Both hinges cracked with netting visible, thus the boards are slack. Some gutter cracking. Pages are rough cut. Moderate wear to spine, cover edges and corners, with splitting, chips and crushing to spine ends. Notable scuffing, insect damage and marking to boards, with tanning to spine.

A. & H. Bradlaugh Bonner, 1892. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Green cloth, blind stamped borders and central medallion, gilt stamped spine lettering. The volume is bumped at the spine ends and corners, and has some areas of rubbing and soiling. The interior has a small bookseller's label on the front pastedown, light perimeter age toning to the pages, and wrinkling on the title facing page where the frontis picture was applied.
