About This Item
Edinburgh: Thomas George Stevenson,, 1869. Impression limited to Seventy Copies for Subscribers, and supposedly this is a reprint of a reprint of the 1714 edition, the limitation of 70 copies and the introduction by Thomas George Stevenson, who is also the publisher, is new but the title leaf a cancel and the same as the 1853 edition with the limitation notice on the verso, looks suspiciously as if it is one of 70 leftover copies of the 1853 printing with minor additions; small octavo, vii, [1], [12], 120, [1] pp, red cloth dark and worn with most of the spine covering gone, signature and pencil notes of a prevous owner on endpapers, and occasional pencil marks in text, reading copy. - If you are reading this, this item is actually (physically) in our stock and ready for shipment once ordered.
