About This Item
Smith, Elder & Co, 1891-01-01. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1901 ed.; 319 p., clean and unmarked anywhere; crack between pp. 192 and 193 but binding firm; red boards with bright gilt lettering on spine and RB monogram on front board has bumped corners, some rubbing at crown and foot of spine. There is evidence of damp staining on upper edges, which has bled onto end page edges but not the interior of the volume. Rebinding with new end pages would restore this volume to its former perfection.
